Thanksgiving Weekend

At about Sunday noon, I'm cleaning the house and vacuuming around Tayshaun and Sasha and it occurred to me...

'geezz, these boys have done nothing but play video games consistently for the past four days! '

Even here, I'm snapping pics and they are really paying attention to the game. No smiles for me. Look at those determined expressions...

So I decide that instead of being lazy and reading a book all day like I intended, we'd better get these boys out of house. Phew! They look excited don't they?!

So we were off to the "Movie-Eater", as Tayshaun puts it, to watch 'The Bolt'. The Bolt was cute, if you like cartoons. I snoozed a little but woke up for the exciting parts. Tayshaun got a little weepy but tried to be a big boy. (It wasn't Old Yeller weepy, though). We ate lunch at the movies (I love that theaters have GOOD nachos now!) and afterwards we walked to the Arcade next door.

And finally, we ended the day with the Grand Finale - - - Baskin Robbins - - - my FAV!


So it was decided...but look at all the choices...YUMMY......Butter Pecan, Oreo Cookie, and Cookie Dough. And diets on Monday morning.
