Almost 5 Yr Old Birthday Party

We had a hard time deciding where to have Tayshaun's birthday party this year.

He wanted to have it at Snowbird but when I told him snow skiing season was over, he changed his mind. We visited the new Cowabunga Bay but I was worried about the weather. And it's a good thing because today ended up being overcast and a little chilly. Then we decided on Boondocks but realized that Keenan was having his birthday party there in two weeks. So we settled on Fat Cats for bowling, arcade, and pizza.

Grandma and Tish gave bowling pointers to the kids. Tayshaun and Michael kept resetting the bowling pins as they pushed every button the saw (and didn't know what it did)...well we found out quick.

Somehow we got all of sisters to attend...they were about an hour late but they made it. All the family actually made it and Tayshaun had a great time.

We had 90 minutes of bowling while we ate our pizza. We had tokens galore for the arcade games. We ate birthday cake and ice cream.

At some point while bowling, the lights went out and the colorful strobe lights were lit as music blasted.
The kids loved it and soon our bowling alley became a dance studio with all the kids busting a move.

We didn't have a single gutter ball if you can believe it. (But we did bowl with the rails up) We had a really great time. Tayshaun was spoiled with presents...all of his favorites... bakugans, action figures, minature skateboards, race cars, a wii game, etc, etc.

Tayshaun knew he hadn't turned 5 yet and was a little reluctant to have a party until Tuesday but he got over that pretty quickly. We had a really great time.

When we got home, Tayshaun played with his toys the entire evening. He ate the rest of his birthday cake and pizza. Here's my sweetie with blue lips from the blue frosting. Muah!!!!
