It was our first real weekend of summer....a little windy but sunny the entire weekend. On Saturday we started with viewing chalk art at the Gateway. The sun wore Tayshaun out. Here he is snoozing on the ride home.

Tisha and Shalyse joined us. I believe the contributions from the event were in support of foster care. There were lots of spectators, bands, snowies, shopping, water squirting. It seemed everyone was outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

I was a little disappointed with the artists this year. The art seemed simplistic. I was looking forward to the dimensional art but there was a lot of Disney instead.

Dennis the Menance appeared out of nowhere. He wanted to go down and be a poser by the fountain. I was taking this shot from the balcony. And yes, he had to try a dangerous feat and jump from pillar to fountain. Luckily there were no visits to the emergency room, today.

How is it that Tayshaun can find candy or gum anywhere we go.

And then there was the shopping. Tayshaun was the photographer in the shoe store. He's pretty good.

Afterward, we watched Keenan's pre-all-star game. And over the weekend, we went swimming and caughts flicks Toy Story 3 and the A-Team.
