Lately, The Menace has been at his ultimate worst!!! Just for kicks and giggles, I'm going to keep a list of this little butthead's shenanigans. You will see, just as I do, that this boy is a bad news bear. If I'd began this list in January, I'd be into 100 pages by now. JK.
What do I do???
Week 1
1. asked Tayshaun to get all of his things out of my car when we got home (which I do, EVERYTIME we get home), the next morning the backseat was full of Tayshaun's crap.
2. one of Tayshaun's chores is to put Diva in her kennel before we leave for the day. As we left for the day, I ALWAYS ask, "did you let Diva in her kennel?". And I got his usual reply, "Yup". When we got home, it'd looked like someone had broken into my house. Diva was the queen of the house for the day. Chewed up tissue, trash, toothbrushes, shoes all over the floor; day old doggie pellets on my clean towel on the bathroom floor; one of my favorite blankets was dragged downstairs and left by her kennel. Tayshaun got a week of no tv for this one....there will be no lying!!!! ....more than once a day, anyways.
3. Tayshaun stole 6 sticks of gum from one of my new packs and 4 sticks from another...all in the same evening. He had the decency to fold the foils and place SOME back in the box for me, though.
4. He had a disciplinary note sent home from his teacher for talking out of turn, not keeping his hands to himself, and being disruptive.
5. He was asked 4 times to put away his shoes. Then he was yelled at 2 more times before he actually put them away.
6. When asked if he had any toys in his backpack, he said no. Luckily I checked to find that some toy soldiers had sneaked their way in, apparently, when Tayshaun wasn't looking. WTH?
7. Tayshaun stole 2 more pieces of gum the very next day after getting grounded for a day for stealing gum, the day before.
And the week isn't over...the weekend has just begun. Oh, how I look forward to more pleasantries.
