Thanks Gramma for waiting in line with Tayshaun for Santa.  It was worth the wait.

I busied myself positioning my camera so Santa's helpers wouldn't shoo me away.  New rules have been posted for the past few years to not allow pictures because they offer their own pics with Santa.

I didn't want to be on my feet for too long.  I wasn't even supposed to be up and about yet, so soon after surgery but I was able to sneak in some cute shots.


Unfortunately I wasn't anywhere close to Santa and Tayshaun so I didn't get the details of the wishlist that Tayshaun provided.  And when Gramma and I asked what he asked Santa for, he wasn't sharing.  Gramma had helped him with a handwritten wishlist, a few days earlier so I had some idea.

 Unfortunately Santa really screwed up this year.  He was misinformed and realized that tooo many boys had asked for longboards this year so he was backordered.

Tayshaun didn't his longboard until 2 days after Christmas because of Santa's backlog.  He did leave Tayshaun a long note, an ipod touch, and a full sock of LOTS of fun games and stuff.  The note asked Tayshaun to watch for the postman because he would be delivering his longboard shortly after Christmas.  Priority mail and Christmas rush are not a good mix.

However when the longboard arrive, it wasn't the exact model that Tayshaun had secretly requested.  I think Tayshaun was testing the Santa theory, this year.

This may be the year that Santa retires.
